Connect4.io is a realtime online Connect 4 game. We collect only the information needed to create accounts, run matches, protect the service, provide support, and improve gameplay.

• Account details such as email address, username, display name, country, and profile image when available.
• Login and authentication details such as encrypted passwords, Google login identifiers, verification status, and refresh-token records.
• Gameplay data such as match history, moves, room information, results, rewards, ratings, timers, and leaderboard statistics.
• Contact messages you send through the Contact Us form, including your name, email, subject, and message.
• Basic technical data such as browser requests, IP-derived country detection, device/browser details, error logs, and security events.

• To create and secure player accounts.
• To verify email addresses and process password resets.
• To run private friend matches, online matchmaking, robot matches, timers, results, and rewards.
• To show dashboards, recent matches, rankings, and leaderboards.
• To answer support requests and investigate bugs, abuse, or account issues.
• To maintain service security, prevent spam, and improve reliability.

If you choose Google login, Google provides an identity token that we verify on the server. We store your email address, Google account identifier, verification status, and profile image if Google provides one. We do not receive or store your Google password.

Connect4.io may use browser storage to keep you signed in, remember session details, and support gameplay flows. You can clear browser storage in your browser settings, but doing so may log you out.

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with infrastructure, email, authentication, analytics, security, or hosting providers when needed to operate Connect4.io. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect users and the service.

We keep account and gameplay information while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and maintain security. Some gameplay records may be retained to preserve rankings and match history.
